Freshmen health is required by the state. This course is scheduled on opposite days with freshmen physical education. Each semester is worth .25

credits upon successful completion.

Students will be covering 1st Aid and CPR, social, emotional and physical health, which addresses personality development, stress management,

emotional problems, the human body and its systems, nutrition and weight control. A unit on male and female anatomy, reproductive systems, sex

education/human reproduction and Sexually Transmitted Diseases will be taught.

After completion of both semesters of Freshmen Health/Physical Education a student will receive .5 credits of Health and .5 credits of Physical

Education.
